Prior to cofounding Workiva in 2008, Matt was a cofounder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Engineering Animation, Inc. from 1990 to 2000, when it was acquired by Unigraphics Solutions, now part of Siemens USA. Matt has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Marty has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

He has also served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer for Borland Software. Joe has an M.S. in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Mike Rost is a key contributor to product strategy at Workiva and works with business leaders in the areas of financial reporting and compliance. With more than 25 years of experience assisting organizations using technology to optimize business processes, Mike has an extensive background in finance and accounting, corporate performance management, and GRC technology. Mike was a founding member of XBRL International with involvement in the XBRL initiative dating back to 1999. He has also been active in industry associations, including the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Mike has a bachelor's degree in economics and an M.B.A in marketing and finance from the University of Minnesota.

Steve Klei is Chief Financial Officer for Kabam, a fast-growing, mobile game software developer. He has more than 25 years of experience managing in high-growth environments, both as an operator and as a board member for private and public companies. Steve has been the CFO for five successful VC backed companies in Silicon Valley. He is on the board of two SaaS software companies, Demandbase and Tribe Dynamics. Steve is also a member of Silicon Valley Bank’s CFO Advisory Board, which is comprised of CFOs from across the United States and a variety of backgrounds and industries. Earlier in his career, Steve was corporate controller of Esprit de Corp. He started his career with Ernst & Young and is a CPA.

Stuart Miller is Executive Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer at Workiva. Prior to Workiva, Stuart was a managing director of Colonnade Advisors, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm that he founded in 1999. Previously, he was a managing director in the investment banking department of J.P. Morgan. Stuart joined J.P. Morgan from Credit Suisse First Boston, where he had worked in the investment banking department. He has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Ian Charles is a strategic CFO for Host Analytics with broad financial experience and a passion for building businesses. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior finance roles. Prior to joining Host Analytics, Ian was a managing director at The Brenner Group and CFO at RMG Networks. Ian was also CEO at IMC Capital Partners, where he led many successful software investments and advised technology startups in strategic development and financial analysis. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from The University of San Francisco.
